This weekend I saw Chrissy Teigen and John Legend at a spa resort in Tucson, Arizona! (Side note: I was there because I have the best sisters in the world.) I was with my sisters and a friend when they passed us on the way from breakfast. We had a moment of being utterly starstruck and spent a few minutes speculating about where they were staying exactly and other details that were none of our business. But when I reflect on our time this weekend, those two stars were nothing compared to the natural beauty that surrounded us.
One of the experiences I took advantage of during our stay was a “Creative Photography Stroll”. The leader gave us some quick tips for capturing photos with our phones, along with some examples of dos and don’ts, before leading us around the grounds to take our own photos. Unlike that fleeting flutter I experienced with our celebrity run-in, I’m still a little starstruck by some of the these desert celebrities I caught on my phone. Here’s a little video I made of some of my favorites:
Great photos and looks like a lovely place to be! Thanks for taking us with you.
Absolutely beautiful pics! The stone towers and arches are just amazing. Love the music you used to accompany them.
I love how you crafted this slice. First, starstruck by stars. Then shifted and shared how your photos of nature are the true natural beauty. Love the video!!
Thanks, Sally!
Thanks for sharing your video. It was just what I needed today – a reminder to see the beauty around me. I’d love to learn some of those photography tricks!
Beautiful green desert! Just lovely!
