As a kid having to beg my dad to please buy more E tickets, I could never have imagined that one day I’d have the opportunity to go to Disneyland on a VIP tour. But last weekend my sister made that dream come true when she booked us a tour to celebrate my niece’s 5th birthday. Was it rainy and cold? Yes. Would I rather have been warm and cozy at home? Not on your life!
Here’s a little photo tour of our day.

In case you don’t know what a VIP tour entails, one of the main features is you have a guide that spends up to eight hours with you in the park that walks you right up to the “lightning lane” on every ride. We started at 9am and by 4 pm we had already completed 10 rides, including riding Splash Mountain twice! Although we had to say goodbye to our tour guide then, we still managed to return to the park after dinner for a visit to Oga’s Cantina and to ride Big Thunder Railroad…twice.
A day never to be forgotten…hope the kids remember this day!
Oh, Vivian, that sounds like a super visit to Disneyland. I love that place, and it sounds like a great experience to have a VIP tour. (I was always looking for E tickets as a child too!) It does look cold and rainy, but I guess that helped keep the crowds down. The weather couldn’t cool the warmth of the experiences. You can tell everyone is happy!
