This morning when I woke up and started running through the day in my head, I instantly regretted not having a list of ideas for the SoLC. What was I going to write about today? 🤷🏻♀️ Then after getting dressed I opened my email and there it was. WordPress had sent an email with a word prompt: bridge. The challenge is to use the word in your blog during the month of March. Challenge accepted!
Not so fast! What the heck was I going to write about with the word bridge?! I looked up sayings/idioms with the word bridge:
• water under the bridge
• burn bridges
• a bridge too far
• bridge the gap
• cross that bridge when we get there
There are more, but I have used all of the ones above in just the last month or so. This makes me think this is my list of ideas for future posts. That’s at least five blog posts.
Ha! If I think it’s going to be that I easy, I have a bridge to sell myself.
How fun! I love that your inspiration for future blogs magically appeared in your inbox. Bridge is a powerful word to spark creativity and insight. Your list of idioms is a fantastic way to open possibility and forge a path forward. You blog today made me feel lighter and more whimsical. Thanks for sharing!
I enjoy a good bit of serendipity. I did not get that email from WordPress, but I did use “bridge” in my post today.
Five future posts…that’s almost a week…I am sure you will get them written before they all fall down.
Challenge accepted. I will consciously use the word “bridge” in at least one of my posts this month. Thanks for sharing.
I went to a Bridgetown Book Store today. Thanks for sharing your inspiration.
All of those associations from just one word. I look forward to the posts.
I’ll give it a go and add to your list – bridge over troubled water! Go
Vivian!!!! I have been so busy that my brain can’t come up with ideas either- and / or, I don’t have enough fun! I want to be more playful with my blogging too. Way to spark it. Thanks for keeping it fresh. Xxx
It’s funny how one word can spark so many ideas and hopefully much writing!
What am I am I going to write about with the word green? This is what I thought when I came across wordprompt.
