…past bedtime! Just when I stopped feeling like it was time to go to bed at 7 pm, Daylight Savings Time started and now I don’t want to go to bed until after 10 pm. Makes the morning rough!
I know our government isn’t really get at getting things done, but with so much support, seems like this should be an easy fix. One of our friends always jokes that he’s going to run on this issue.
I started this draft a year ago and for whatever reason let it sit in my Drafts. The funny thing is today’s time change made me think of a time when we “fall back” an hour.
One Monday when I was maybe in 4th or 5th grade, my step-dad dropped me off at school and went on his way to work. That was a regular occurrence, nothing out of the ordinary.
As I walked onto campus, I noticed that it was unusually quiet in the hallways. Where was the staff? Where were my friends? Was it a holiday? Nope, it was the Monday after we returned to standard time. We never changed our clocks and I was at school an hour early!
