    I cheated and scrolled through the WordPress prompts for one I liked. Here it is:

    What movies or TV series have you watched more than 5 times?

    Here are the ones off the top of my head, along with a random line I remember:

    When Harry Met Sally: I’ll have what she’s having.
    Four Weddings and a Funeral: F—! F—! F—!
    Love Actually: Christmas lobster?
    A Christmas Story: You’ll shoot your eye out!
    Elf: Congratulations! World’s best cup of coffee! Great job everybody!
    Sixteen Candles: It’s really human of you to listen to all my bulls—.
    The Breakfast Club: Eat my shorts.
    The Goonies: Hey, you guys!
    Sound of Music: Is it to be at every meal, or merely at dinnertime, that you, intend leading us all through this rare and wonderful new world of… indigestion?
    White Christmas: God help the sister that comes between me and my mister!

    Some of these movies did not age well…

      White Christmas and The Sound of Music are the only two on your list that I have seen more than 5 times. My list would include West Side Story (the original) and Casablanca.

      Some of these would be on my list too! Elf and The Goonies definitely–and Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club too. I’m not sure I’ve seen any TV show more than five times…

      White Christmas, Elf, The Sound of Music, Sleepless in Seattle, and Gone with the Wind. I love Goonies, too, but not sure I’ve hit the five times mark with that one.

      Ohhhh LOTS of these movies did not age well. And even though lots of older movies are not ENTIRELY problematic, most of them could definitely NOT be made today.

      Doesn’t stop me from having an inordinate number of the lines memorized, either!

        Would definitely need some revision. I mean one line from Sixteen Candles that always pops into my head comes from one of the most racist stereotypes! 🙈

          I know EXACTLY which line, from EXACTLY which character. In unrelated trivia, the tree he fell out of drunkenly? I have it on good authority it’s the one in my front yard!
