Hey there! I'm Vivian. Sometimes I write about life and sometimes I write about teaching.

Ever since I was 16 years old, I’ve had a at least a part-time job. I’ve never not worked. When my peers were taking trips to sunny beaches, I was picking up extra shifts. Although I’ve continued to be employed, the pandemic changed the pace of my work schedule. Suddenly I had time when I would’ve been commuting. I had random days off when I would’ve been coaching at a school.

These extra pockets of time opened up space for me to start thinking and dreaming of new projects when I would’ve been “booked and busy.” As luck would have it, it was also during this time I met Kisha who was starting her own business as a thought partner. To support her burgeoning business, I scheduled a discovery call with her. I didn’t know if I really needed a formal thought partner since I was always so busy keeping up with the present. But before I knew it, I was on my way to planning my own podcast!

This is just another example of something gained during the pandemic.

It just goes to show that even in tough times good things can and do happen.

  2. Lainie Levin says:

First of all, having a thought partner is BRILLIANT. And to have it with someone who works outside of your discipline is such a smart plan. I can imagine the different perspectives you both bring.
But now you have me intrigued. Tell me about this podcast, because I’d LOVE to give it a listen!

  3. That’s awesome! I am so intrigued by the podcast. i hope you keep us posted on your progress.

  4. Love the idea of a thought partner because you never know where it might take you! Awesome!
